Beautiful Mind Classical Concert

Theatre For All has presented ‘Beautiful Mind’ classical concert to celebrate the 2012 London Paralympics.
The concert series was related to the efforts of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the Korea Foundation and Beautiful Mind team in S. Korea to promote “cultural diplomacy.” Theatre For All was pleased to play a part in this project. This project was based on a theme of “harmony with the disabled” to celebrate the 2012 London Paralympics. Musicians with physical disabilities from Korea and the U.K expressed a message of hope, for a world free of discrimination, through the universal language of music.
Guest performers from the U.K - Denise Leigh, a visually-impaired opera singer who performed at the Opening Ceremony of Paralympics 2012. Denise Leigh is well known as the winner of the English TV program, “Operatunity” in 2003.

In addition, the Kaos Signing Choir, who participated in the Opening Ceremony of London Olympics 2012, also presented a guest performance.

Visual Art - Korea Meets KAOS

Theatre For All held a joint exhibition, Korea meets KAOS in 2012 as part of the Cultural Olympiad programme in the U.K.
Korea and Kingston have a long and rich tradition of celebrating each other’s culture but this was the first time Korean artists have officially visited Kingston.
